Thursday Drop-in Meditation Classes

Cultivating Spiritual Power:
Meditations on Compassion

March Meditation Classes: Thursdays, 7-8:15pm
Available by live stream to members

True spiritual power comes from cultivating the inner qualities of love, compassion, and wisdom. The most humble people often have tremendous spiritual power because their actions are not based on self-concern, but on concern for others. If you have ever doubted your inner power to make a difference in your life and the lives of others, this can change through becoming familiar with meditations that help us improve our compassion. These meditations are part of Buddha's "Lamrim" teachings, a Tibetan word that means "the stages of the path to enlightenment." With Resident Teacher and Buddhist nun Gen Chöyang.

.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
