Thursday Drop-in Meditation Classes
March Series:
Exploring Buddhist Tantra
Thursdays, 7-8:15pm
Would you like to experience bliss and happiness in your life?
In our chaotic and increasingly complex world, pure happiness can seem unattainable, like a fantasy. However, "bliss" is defined as "pure happiness," and is the experience that we all desire and will always seek. At present, we are conditioned to believe that pleasures of the senses are happiness. In truth, these pleasures are a kind of substitute for the purest form of happiness that lies within us. In the art of Tantra, we see images of Buddhas that radiate an aura of benevolence, light and peace. This is the visual expression of the pure bliss that can be attained by everyone.
In this series, Buddhist nun and Teacher Gen Kelsang Denpa will give teachings and guided meditations on the practice of Buddhist Tantra which is a method of meditation that leads to deep levels of bliss and peace. She will explain how it enables us to transform the experience of pleasure into a purer form of happiness within: The pure bliss of Tantra.
