Thursday Drop-in Meditation Classes
Spiritual Refuge:
Finding True Peace in Difficult Times

Thursdays in September, 7-8:15pm
Are you looking for something positive and effective to rely upon to pacify the worry and unhappiness that arise when faced with life’s challenges? In Buddhism, we turn to three things to find inner security and peace of mind; they are called the "Three Jewels." During these classes on Buddhist refuge, we will explore why Buddha, and the teachings he gave called "Dharma," and spiritual friends or "Sangha," offer us the kind of protection that we cannot find in everyday things. Learn practical ways to find true peace and freedom form pain and problems. With Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher Gen Chöyang.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!
