Mini Meditation Retreat on Buddhist Refuge:
Finding Spiritual Support
With Guest Teacher, Bill Spurrell
Sat March 15th, 10am-12:30pm

Are you looking for something positive and effective to rely upon to pacify the worry and unhappiness that arise when you're faced with life’s challenges? In Buddhism, we turn to three entities to find inner security and peace of mind; they are called the "Three Jewels." During this mini-retreat on refuge, we explore why Buddha, and the teachings he gave called Dharma, and spiritual friends or Sangha, offer us the kind of protection that we cannot find in everyday things. This retreat is a practical place to begin for anyone who is curious about Buddhism, or who wishes deepen their understanding of Buddhism as a way of life. With Guest Buddhist Teacher, Bill Spurrell.
