Sunday Drop-in Meditation Classes

Becoming Resilient:

Finding Peace through Patience

Drop-in Meditation Classes:
Sundays in January, 10-11:15am

Available by live stream to members

None of us want problems or difficulties, so of course we try to avoid them as best we can. However, there are times when we are faced with the unavoidable such as a personal loss of some kind, when there are no escape doors. In the Buddhist training called "Lojong," spiritual practitioners try to learn and grow from life’s problems. If we look at problems from the perspective of spiritual growth, we begin to discover inner strengths that we never realized we had, such as wisdom, patience, and compassion. Problems are going to come anyway - why not use them to our advantage?

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the month. Everyone is welcome!
