Sunday Drop-in Meditation Classes
Buddha's Healing Medicine
Drop-in Meditation Classes:
Sundays April 12, 19, 26: 10-11:15am
Available by live stream to members
The practice of "taking" is a special meditation that Buddha taught to improve our compassion. When suffering and problems bring us down, we can turn to this meditation to strengthen our ability to face our own and others' difficulties with courage. This healing medicine has many other spiritual benefits: It purifies our negative karma, increases the causes for pure happiness, and nurtures our Buddha seed - our potential to become enlightened in order to benefit all living beings. With Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher Gen Chöyang.
These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the month. Everyone is welcome!
