Do I have to be a Buddhist?

No. Anyone can learn meditation and experience the benefits. Buddhism is a non-evangelical religion. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they follow another faith or not.

Do I need to have any experience?

No. Our classes benefit people who are new to meditation as well as seasoned meditators.
 

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. All classes are live-streamed and you can register on our How to Register Page.

 

Is there any kind of physical exercise involved?

No.
 

Will I be asked to speak in front of a group?

No. If you would like to ask a question in the online classes, you can
send a question via the Chat function in Zoom.

Do I need to wait for the next series of classes to begin?

No. Although the classes are often taught as a series, each class is self-contained, so feel free to drop in anytime.
 

Why do you charge for classes?

Our Centre completely depends on class fees, memberships and donations to operate. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organization.
 

What if I don’t have money and I want to go to a class?

We don't turn away anyone for lack of funds. If you are having financial challenges & would like to attend a class, contact: epc.kuluta@gmail.com

Are there class discounts for regular students ?
We offer a Centre Card which costs $50 and covers five General Program classes. If you would like to purchase one, write: epc.kuluta@gmail.com
