FAQ's

Do I have to be a Buddhist?

No; anyone can learn meditation and experience the benefits. Buddhism is a non-evangelical religion. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they follow another faith or not.

Do I need to have any experience?

Not at all:  Our classes benefit people who are new to meditation as well as seasoned meditators.
 

Do I need to book in advance?

You can either pre-register online or simply drop in; whatever is easier for you.

 

Is there any kind of physical exercise involved?

Not at all.
 

Will I be asked to speak in front of a group?

No, although you are welcome to ask questions at the end of class during the
Q and A period.

Do I need to wait for the next series of classes to begin?

No: Although the classes are taught as a series, each class is self-contained, so feel free to drop in anytime.
 

Why do you charge for classes?

Our Centre completely depends on class fees and donations to operate. We are a non-profit, 100% volunteer-run organization.
 

What if I don’t have money and I want to go to a class?

We have a sliding scale for people who are experiencing financial challenges. Please contact: ad.kuluta@gmail.com for more information.

Are there class discounts for regular students ?
We offer a $55 monthly membership which covers all live streamed drop-in classes (Sunday and Thursday).
