FAQ's

Do I have to be a Buddhist?

No; anyone can learn meditation and experience the benefits. Buddhism is a non-evangelical religion. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they follow another faith or not.

Do I need to have any experience?

Not at all:  Our classes benefit people who are new to meditation as well as seasoned meditators.

Do I need to book in advance?

You can either pre-register online or simply drop in; whatever is easier for you.

Is there any kind of physical exercise involved?

Not at all.

How accessible is your space to disabled people?

The building and our space are both wheelchair-accessible. There is a wheelchair-accessible bathroom a few feet away from our space. Masks are available if requested. We have air purifiers or open windows (depending upon the weather) for air circulation. Our space is on the second floor and there is an elevator available.

Will I be asked to speak in front of a group?

No, although you are welcome to ask questions at the end of class during the
Q and A period.

Our Centre completely depends on class fees and donations to operate. We are a non-profit, 100% volunteer-run organization.
