Thursday Drop-in Meditation Classes
The Inner Light of Wisdom:
Buddha's Four Noble Truths
Drop-in Meditation Classes:
Thursdays in May, 7-8:15pm
Navigating life’s problems in these modern times is challenging, especially when we receive so many different kinds of advice. One perspective worth considering comes from Buddha Shakyamuni. His first teachings, known as "The Four Noble Truths," explain why we suffer and how we can find both temporary and lasting peace. All of his subsequent teachings can be understood within these four basic principles: True sufferings, true origins, true cessations, and true paths.
With Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher Gen Chöyang.
