Thursday Drop-in Meditation Classes

Meditations to Expand Our Love
February Meditation Classes: Thursdays, 7-8:15pm
Available by live stream to members

 

We will explore what is called the “Great Scope” teachings of the Lamrim, which is a Tibetan word that means "the stages of the path to enlightenment." In this group of teachings, Buddha shows us how to expand our understanding of love with a step-by-step series of meditations that help us grow spiritually. Join in and find inspiration, as well as tools to deal with modern-day challenges. With Resident Teacher and Buddhist nun Gen Chöyang.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!

Feb 6:  The Kindness of Living Beings

Feb 13:  Recognizing All Living Beings as Our Mother

Feb 20:  Equalizing Self with Others

Feb 27:  Exchanging Self with Others

Cost:

$14 per class (Free for members) or buy a 4-class pass for $45 (to be redeemed at any time at our Thursday and/or Sunday classes in Kingston or at our once-monthly class in Brockville). If these options are unaffordable, please email: ad.kuluta@gmail.com for a sliding scale.
