Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully:
A Bu
ddhist Meditation Retreat
Saturday, November 11th, 1-4pm

Contrary to what we may believe, acknowledging our own death is very life-affirming. It gives us impetus and energy to create a happy life through training in love, compassion and wisdom, the essence of spiritual practice. When we allow the meditation on death to touch our heart, we gain perspective on what truly matters and this frees us from many petty or unnecessary worries and concerns. During this retreat, we will learn about the many benefits of contemplating death, as well as the Buddhist perspective on what death means and what lies beyond. With Buddhist nun and Teacher, Gen Chöyang. Everyone welcome!
